PlayStation Experience 2015 live in movie theaters during E3

Last year’s massively successful PlayStation Experience is making a comeback at E3 on June 15. Dubbed the PlayStation E3 Experience, 10,000 fans across America will get the chance to watch a live broadcast of all things PlayStation in movie theaters.

The previous PlayStation Experience event sold out in 15 minutes, so Sony will be compensating for the high demand by expanding to at least one theater in every state including Alaska and Hawaii.

“Plus Canada…” as the trailer claims.

What are we going to see his year? No doubt No Man’s Sky will be on the forefront of everyone’s mind, but Sony’s montage suggests that we’ll be hearing from Ratchet & Clank, Star Wars: Battlefront, Bloodborne, Destiny, Street Fighter V, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, and Batman: Arkham Knight.

It also promises a PlayStation Surprise for anybody who attends. Last year’s attendees were granted free access to the beta tests for Destiny and Battlefield: Hardline.

Crypt of the NecroDancer mod is the Mega Man rhythm game we’ve never had

Not ready for “Mega May” to end just yet? Capcom has done a good job making sure that every classic Mega Man game that it can release has been released through digital channels, but when it comes to original content, the fan scene is still the best place to look. Like this mod for example! The Mega Man series is eternally memorable for its amazing soundtracks, but we’ve sadly never gotten a rhythm game out of it. Luckily, we have CutmanMike to thank for modding the Blue Bomber, a host of his iconic enemies, an arsenal of special weapons, and several of his greatest musical hits into the indie hit Crypt of the NecroDancer. Tesla Model S update promises to solve “range anxiety”

Tesla announced a new update coming to its Model S car this year which should make it impossible to ever drive too far away from a charging station, at least on purpose. The company also confirmed plans to add auto-steering features later this year. Ahead of the recent event, CEO Elon Musk promised to kill “range anxiety” once and for all, describing the concern some Tesla drivers feel over whether they’ll be able to reach a charging station in time. Once the firmware update (version 6.2) hits, it will add a Range Assurance application that keeps track of your location and the nearest chargers. The app, which always runs in the background, will send a notification to the driver if he or she is about to wander out of range so that they can turn around in time. “This makes it effectively impossible for a Model S driver to run out of range unintentionally,” Musk said.
