The next Assassin’s Creed game will be revealed officially on May 12, Ubisoft has announced.
The official U.S. site has an animated teaser image for the game up currently depicting a set of brass knuckles emblazoned with the slogan “Strength through Loyalty,” surrounded by carvings of “God Save the Queen,” “Rooks,” and “We forge the chains we wear in life.” The latter phrase is a Charles Dickens quote. These all point to the same Victorian England time and place we saw when the game was leaked out as Assassin’s Creed Victory in December.
Additionally, the U.K. site features the image below, showing a pair of hands wearing brass knuckles and sporting a cane in addition to the standard hidden blade and the most adorable little arm cannon ever.
We don’t know for sure what the game is called yet. Victory appears to have been a working title. Kotaku has sources saying the game will be called Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate. Maybe it’ll be Assassin’s Creed: We Got it Working This Time Please Buy It. Whatever it’s called, we’ll know more when Ubisoft officially unveils the game via live stream at 12 p.m. Eastern time May 12.
