The LG G4 is one of the most exciting phones announced this year, but the company still hasn’t said exactly when it’s slated for release in the United States. Now we may know when the device is headed to T-Mobile thanks to the LG’s own promotional Twitter account.
The flagship phone will apparently hit T-Mobile stores on June 2. That’s according to a @G4Preview Twitter account the phone-maker is using to promote the device ahead of launch. The company spilled the news in a tweeted response to one fan. The evidence was deleted soon afterwards, but not before it was spotted and shared online.
It’s possible the tweet was deleted because it’s incorrect, but that seems unlikely. We’re guessing someone higher up at T-Mobile or LG saw the leak and had it removed. Either way, it shouldn’t be too long before the G4 hits T-Mobile along with the other major U.S. carriers.
Here’s a quick refresh of what the LG G4 has to offer. The new phone packs a 5.5-inch Quad HD display, a Snapdragon 808 processor, a 3000mAh removable battery, 32GB of expandable storage, 3GB of RAM and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop. It also packs a pair of powerful cameras, sporting a 16-megapixel shooter in back and another 8 megapixels up front.
Hopefully, LG reveals official pricing and availability for the G4 soon. For now, check out our full LG G4 review or scroll back up for our hands-on gallery.
