Regardless of platform, it seems that Minecraft sells well wherever it’s available. As more and more time goes by, the breakout sensation seems to do better and better.
That’s good news for Microsoft, current owners of all things Mojang and Mine. So good, in fact, that with three years since releasing on an Xbox platform, Minecraft has officially sold more than 20,000,000 copies on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
That news comes alongside a mini third birthday celebration on behalf of Microsoft. From now until May 17, three skin packs will be available for free for Xbox 360 and Xbox One owners of Minecraft. You can see all that’s available in the gallery above.
Are you one of the 20,000,000 laying blocks on the Xbox platforms? Or, do you prefer your Minecraft in PlayStation, PC or pocket form?
