Grab a tub of popcorn, drink a Mountain Dew, and get ready: Furious 7 is out in theaters, and we’re amped. We’re not expecting a masterstroke of filmmaking genius, but there’s one thing we can all agree on: the franchise has produced some of the most original, thrilling movies over the past few years, and the world is better of for it. I’m ready to declare an official Fast & Furious holiday, where everyone is required to act like Dominic Toretto.

Until that day comes, why not catch up on all the crazy movie reports from this week? There have been a lot of rumors, speculation and trailers, from a Full House reboot to our first look at Ash vs. Evil Dead. I am ready.

Hugh Jackman will play Wolverine “one last time”

Hugh Jackman has been so back and forth about his involvement with Wolverine, that it was getting difficult to follow. However, the actor has confirmed that he’ll don the bushy muttonchops One. Last. Time. At the rate he keeps flip-flopping, probably more times after that, too. [Instagram]

Disney’s Mulan is getting the live-action treatment

First Cinderella, next Mulan. Disney has reportedly purchased a script for a live-action re-telling of the famous Chinese character. The character first popped up in theaters all the way back in 1998, and again in a straight-to-video sequel in 2005. Excited? So are we. [HollywoodReporter]

New actresses in Age of Ultron

How did this not get leaked? In some promotional material for an upcoming premiere in Los Angeles, both Julie Delpy (Before Midnight) and Linda Cardellini (Freaks & Geeks) are listed among the film’s cast. Unfortunately, their roles aren’t specified, so we’re left to speculate. Any guesses? [IGN]

Fantastic Four international trailer gives us new footage

The international trailer for Fantastic Four is here, and while it’s mostly the same, we do get glimpses at some new footage. It’s not much, but it’s better than nothing. The jury is still out on the upcoming reboot, but we’re hopeful. Fantastic Four is set to hit theaters on Aug. 7.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer

Finally, it looks like Zack Snyder is ready to unleash the first trailer for Batman v Superman. Multiple outlets have reportedly confirmed it’ll appear attached to Mad Max: Fury Road, which comes out a few weeks after Age of Ultron. It’s unclear how extensive the trailer will be, but I’m really hoping we’ll get to see Ben Affleck in the bat suit. [Variety]

Tesla Model S update promises to solve “range anxiety”

Tesla announced a new update coming to its Model S car this year which should make it impossible to ever drive too far away from a charging station, at least on purpose. The company also confirmed plans to add auto-steering features later this year. Ahead of the recent event, CEO Elon Musk promised to kill “range anxiety” once and for all, describing the concern some Tesla drivers feel over whether they’ll be able to reach a charging station in time. Once the firmware update (version 6.2) hits, it will add a Range Assurance application that keeps track of your location and the nearest chargers. The app, which always runs in the background, will send a notification to the driver if he or she is about to wander out of range so that they can turn around in time. “This makes it effectively impossible for a Model S driver to run out of range unintentionally,” Musk said. Version 6.2 should roll out in the next two weeks. It also includes a new Trip Planner feature that helps map out long...

Crypt of the NecroDancer mod is the Mega Man rhythm game we’ve never had

Not ready for “Mega May” to end just yet? Capcom has done a good job making sure that every classic Mega Man game that it can release has been released through digital channels, but when it comes to original content, the fan scene is still the best place to look. Like this mod for example! The Mega Man series is eternally memorable for its amazing soundtracks, but we’ve sadly never gotten a rhythm game out of it. Luckily, we have CutmanMike to thank for modding the Blue Bomber, a host of his iconic enemies, an arsenal of special weapons, and several of his greatest musical hits into the indie hit Crypt of the NecroDancer. For those who have not played it,  Crypt of the NecroDancer  is a dungeon crawling roguelike game. Sure, we have enough of those these days, but the kicker which really helps this one stand out is that it must be played to a beat for maximum performance. Miss a beat, and your character will do less damage or miss an attack. The Mega Man mod r...
