PC gamers who prefer the feel of the Xbox controller have something to look forward to.
Microsoft announced at GDC this week that a wireless adapter for the Xbox One controller will be shipping later this year.
Right now, using the Xbox One controller with a PC requires a microUSB cable – not exactly a rare commodity, but it can be kind of annoying if you’re accustomed to wireless gaming. Many gamers are already using Bluetooth to connect DualShock 4 controllers to enjoy wireless PC gaming, but Xbox controller support tends to be slightly more universal.
There’s no price or date yet on the adapter, but I’ll put my money on $24.99.
