As is often the case with both the Battlefield and Battlefront franchises, not entirely at the hands of DICE, vehicles are hugely important. In Star Wars: Battlefront, the reboot set to drop this year, that remains true.
It’s important, then, to know that DICE has plans to include the glorious chicken walkers in their upcoming multiplayer battle title. I say “chicken walkers” because that’s what we called them when I was a little kid, and the name always made me giggle.
They’re really AT-STs, All Terrain Scout Transports, and they boast speed, maneuverability and, unfortunately, a massive weakness to logs swinging at their heads from trees. It’s like their Achilles Heel.
The Battlefront team has confirmed that the new title will feature playable AT-STs. This came in the form of a tweet, complete with a render of the walker. Here it is.

Star Wars: Battlefront is set to hit the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms on November 17, 2015. We’ll have more on the game, including whatever silly science fiction vehicles it includes, as it comes.
