Android fans should be feeling pretty good right about now. On the heels of a stellar 2014, where we saw devices such as the Nexus 6, Moto X, Droid Turbo, and LG G3, we’ve already seen the Galaxy S6, HTC One M9, and, soon the LG G4. But you can certainly have too much of a good thing. When there are so many great phones to choose from, it can be difficult narrowing down which one to buy. That’s what makes these versus posts so important.
That brings us to the M9 and S6. Two excellent phones with their own strengths and weaknesses. We’ve already told you our thoughts about each phone. The M9 is a beautiful underachiever, while the Galaxy S6 is among the best smartphones ever. It’s like choosing which Macaulay Culkin Home Alone movie is better; both are so good.
After all the hubbub, it eventually boils down to your own personal experience, but we’re here to guide you and share our impressions of each device. On paper, there are some big differences, but, as we’ve found in the past, it’s not always about the specs. (However, with the Galaxy S6, it’s a little bit about the specs.)
The S6 has a richer, sharper screen, a superior camera, and an improved design, whereas the M9 sports a gorgeous design, great 1080p screen, and a lovely software experience. Not an easy choice, especially since each phone offers up a compelling experience. You really can’t go wrong with either. But if you only have $199 to spend on one, which one should you get?
Jon has the answer, and you can hear all about it in the video above. Do you agree or disagree with his assessment?

TechnoBuffalo reviews the Samsung Galaxy S6, which is a fantastic and well-rounded device. It’s arguably the best Samsung has ever made.
How does HTC’s new One M9 fare? Let’s just say it’s not much better than the One M8 that the company released last year.
