Sprint on Wednesday announced it will soon offer the LG G Stylo, a new Android phablet, to Sprint, Sprint Prepaid and Boost Mobile customers. The G Stylo was first announced in April by LG, and features a large display and an integrated stylus.
The G Stylo is equipped with a 5.7-inch screen, an 8-megapixel camera, a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, Android 5.0 Lollipop, a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, and a removable 3,000mAh battery that Sprint says should be good for up to 24 hours of talk time. We can’t say how good the stylus is without trying the phone just yet, but $199 is a pretty compelling price for a device that costs a fraction of Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4.
Boost Mobile customers can pick it up beginning Wednesday for just $199.99 plus tax, without any sort of commitment. It will also hit Sprint Prepaid on June 7 for the same price, again without any sort of contract involved. Then, beginning on June 12, customers can pick up the G Stylo with a Sprint contract for $0 down with 24 monthly payments of $12.
