Admittedly, I haven’t played as much of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt as I’d like to quite yet. What I have played, roughly four hours or so, has been a bit of a mess. I’m playing on the PlayStation 4, and I’ve noticed framerate drops, some crazy pop-in and odd texture bugs (all the water in the game turn black until I rebooted, for instance).
Listen, I don’t mean to drudge up an argument about frames per second and resolutions, but I’m not really the type to get hung up on it. If a game works and looks good, the numbers between platforms are a wash for me. The numbers right now for Witcher 3? Distracting. At best.
Completely annoying, is more like it.
Alas, I’m not alone in my frustrations. Gamers around the world have been a bit peeved about the drops, glitches and stutters happening on the console versions of The Witcher 3, and they’ve hit CD Projekt Red on Twitter to talk about it. Community Manager Marcin Momot responded to one such tweet rather succinctly.
@HX422 Yes. We are working on these.

And then later.
@DavidMo92898701 Yes. Working on it. Shouldn't be long until it's out.

Hopefully that patch is coming sooner rather than later. And, double hopefully, it addresses framerates and stuttering for both then PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Have you been playing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on consoles? How’s it going? How about you PC gamers, how’s the game there? Don’t rub it in…
