The DROID Turbo still isn’t running Android 5.0 Lollipop, but Motorola says a fix is coming soon. The company offered an update on Twitter on Friday, promising to upgrade customers straight to Android 5.1 Lollipop in an effort to catch up.
We're working w/ our partner on upgrading #DROIDTurbo directly from KitKat to Lollipop 5.1. Stay tuned for updates. http://t.co/plmLbamKad

Motorola has been promising an Android Lollipop upgrade for the DROID Turbo for a while now. The company actually told us the same thing when the device first launched back 0n Oct. 28. More recently in March, it offered an eventual jump to Android 5.1, but two months later we’re still waiting.
Hopefully the company will offer some concrete details soon. It shouldn’t take this long, especially since Motorola is quick to update its other phones, which suggests that Verizon may be the bottleneck here.
We’ll let you know as soon as the DROID Turbo makes the jump to Android 5.1 Lollipop.
