AT&T on Monday announced an affordable Android 5.0 Lollipop tablet that won’t break the bank. It’s the first tablet AT&T has offered with its own branding, and the first tablet sold with Lollipop out of the box.
The AT&T Trek HD sports a 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 16GB of storage that can be expanded using its microSD card slot, a 4,060mAh battery, a 5-megapixel camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
The Trek HD is priced at $49 with a new two-year contract, or can be purchased with an AT&T Next installment plan with 20 monthly payments of $10. It can also be added to an existing Mobile Share data plan for $10 a month. The Trek HD will be available from AT&T beginning on May 12.
